That’s Fucking Awesome
When people see our work, we want them to say “that’s fucking awesome!”
This project came together due to a number of factors. For one, we had been isolated in lockdown for months and wanted to see our friends and community. Two, our business was opening the doors for new clients for the first time in years and we needed to spread the word. Third, we really love pizza and wanted to celebrate the amazing pizza scene where we live in Kingston, NY.
So how do you reconnect with your friends and community while advertising your service and celebrating pizza? Easy. Produce a tongue-in-cheek lifestyle vlog drenched in sauce, cheese and crust… with a side order of incisive social commentary. The result:
Yeah, it really worked! At the time of this writing, nearly 9,000 local pizza freaks have enjoyed the video. We’re now minor local celebrities, and people recognize us all the time from this video. The popularity spurred us to do sequels like Every Coffee In Kingston and Every Brewery In Ulster County. And several folks noticed our work and reached out to do business with us. Pretty cool for a weekend of eating pizza.
We continue to use That’s Fucking Awesome as a research lab to develop new ideas and experiment with content production and marketing strategies.
